Description
Impact assessment is a contested area in the social sector. Quantitative methods dominate the thinking around this topic. The more qualitative aspects of the work are often missed out on. In this context, this forthcoming webinar titled ‘Unpacking Impact Assessment’ will raise and discuss some fundamental questions related to the theme. These include its implications for organizational learning and development, the relevance of related processes to program design, and the values that underlie much conventional thinking surrounding impact assessment. Our speakers Aparna Krishnan, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL); Narayan P.S., Wipro; Sunayana Chatrapathy, Makkala Jagriti; and, Suraj Jacob, Azim Premji University discuss the nuances of this topic that is increasingly relevant to our work in the social sector. This session was moderated by Rahul Mukhopadhyay, Azim Premji University.
