School transformation is an area of educational intervention that needs a participatory response and cooperation from students, teachers, parents and school administration. What aspects are critical to improve the infrastructure and learning environment in government schools? Objective
School improvement is an area of educational intervention that needs a considered response from students, teachers, parents and school administrators. Pedagogic innovations in classrooms and curricular initiatives at the policy level, although necessary and important, are not adequate to strengthen government schools and to improve teaching and learning outcomes. What aspects are critical to transforming a school as an institution? In this month’s webinar, we will deliberate on the various perspectives, approaches and experiences from some acknowledged initiatives in this space.
