Social sector practitioners work with problems of great complexity and magnitude. As they work in these challenging environments to create meaningful impact, they may experience frustration, disappointment, stress and burnout. The effects of the well-being of leaders in the social sector may trickle down to their teams. There is research-based evidence demonstrating that social sector practitioners benefit personally and professionally from purposefully attending to their well-being. This course will help the participants take away perspectives, practices and skills, which nurture well-being in self, others, teams and organizations. It is recommended that at least 2-4 members from each organization participate in the program together especially for Part 2.
Participants can choose to do both the parts in the same year or attend one part of the program without the other. Part 2 will consist of 4.5 days of learning sessions followed by four (4) online, weekly coaching circles. Each coaching circle will be 100 minutes long. PART 2- Thriving organizational spaces: How can we create collaborative, well-being-centred cultures in teams and organizations?

"When I was recommended by my colleagues to join the workshop on well-being, I was in two minds. Should I or should I not? I was really happy that I did join. The entire program was very well-curated and designed. The various aspects like situational role play analysis, the group activities, and the self and organizational evaluations, etc., helped me understand what makes well-being important for both the self and for organizations. I would definitely recommend every person to attend this program for self and organizational well-being, so that we genuinely spread well-being around us." "For me, the course provided a safe introspective space through insightful techniques. Well researched course material and exceptional facilitators are some things that stood out during the training Some key takeaways for me were the techniques to improve wellness based on my own past experiences and looking within using the rubrics shared. Some things that stood out about the Vindus facilitators were their sensitivity to individual privacy and recommendations without prescriptions. I would recommend this program to leaders because their individual wellness is often ignored."
